Shiv Nadar is the founder and chairman of HCL, and has turned the IT hardware company into an IT Enterprise over the last three decades by constantly reinventing his company's focus. Founded in the mid-1970s, HCL ventured into the international market with the opening of hardware seller Far East Computers in Singapore in 1980. As of today, the info-tech group HCL has operations in more than 15 countries worldwide.
