L.A. Reid is part of a dying breed of executives.  The term music mogul can be applied to very few people currently.  The ever-shifting landscape of the music scene, and the age of iTunes, YouTube, and multiple self-distribution outlets, has heralded the end of the music executive who is almost as famous as his/her artists.  However there are a few people who have managed to maintain the status of mogul.  They continue to find artists and groom them into superstars, and their rosters of hit makers regularly thank them as they win another award or set another record for album sales.  L.A. Reid is one of these people.  He, along with Babyface, Jay Z., and to some extent, Clive Davis, are able to achieve success simply because of the choices they make about the people they meet.  Their instincts are almost always spot on, and they have become very wealthy because of this.  L.A. Reid's choices have included Usher, Rihanna, and Justin Bieber, among many others.  His famous clients have allowed him to live a quite opulent lifestyle, but recently, after a rather unsuccessful stint  on "The X-Factor", he seems to have decided to downsize a bit. This has included placing his massive condo on the market.

LA Reid's house is 5000 square feet and contains six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and five half bathrooms. The massive home is on the 10th floor of the very posh 515 Park Avenue building, which has its own executive chef, a private gym, multiple climate-controlled wine cellars, full concierge and valet services, and storage rooms.  LA Reid's house features a large open-plan living room/dining room area with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows.  The kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances and Cesar stone countertops.  The foyer in L.A. Reid's house doubles as a gallery and is accessed via one of three private elevators.  The condo is on sale for $18.9 million, and if you are willing to pony up $14,000+ per month in maintenance fees, you, too, can have a taste of the music mogul life.
